Stacey Worthington
Immediate Past Chair
Worthington AC & Heathing
Raised in Citrus County, FL, I ventured out of my hometown after high school to pursue higher education and a career in the pharmaceutical industry. The deep-rooted connections of family, the warmth of community, and the undeniable charm of Homosassa called me back home in 2010. Today, I proudly serve as the Chair of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and as a member of the Governmental Affairs Committee, working to strengthen and support our local business community.
In 2020, the Board of County Commissioners nominated me to the Planning and Development Commission, where I focused on crafting strategic, managed growth policies and modernizing our county’s comprehensive plan. My term ended in January 2024 and I look forward to using the knowledge and experience I gained in future endeavors.
My passion for advocating on behalf of small businesses and the construction industry led me to serve as President—now Treasurer—of the Citrus County Building Alliance. Alongside my husband, I also run Worthington A/C & Heating, a local small business dedicated to serving our community.
