Proclaimed by the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners and produced by the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce, the month of October is celebrated each year as “Business Appreciation Month”
Recognizing the important role and vital contributions that our businesses pay in Citrus County
The businesses in Citrus County provide thousands of jobs that promote the economic success of our community and enhance our high quality of life including education, recreation, environment, safety, health, and welfare through the contributions that the businesses make to Citrus County via the wages they pay to employees and taxes they pay to support Citrus County infrastructure.
Several events are hosted throughout the month to celebrate, inspire, connect, and support our businesses and future economic growth.
