Meet the Candidates: 2026 Citrus County BOCC Primary Election
One-on-one interviews with candidates for the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners, presented by the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee.
The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce a new resource for voters ahead of the 2026 Citrus County BOCC election: one-on-one candidate interviews released in advance of the July 10th Primary Candidate Forum luncheon, giving candidates the opportunity to share their backgrounds and priorities with the broader community, not just those in the room.
Each interview was conducted by Governmental Affairs Committee Chair John Murphy. Candidates were asked the same questions and given equal time to respond. These interviews are provided as a nonpartisan public resource and do not constitute an endorsement of any candidate.
All current candidates for Citrus County Board of County Commissioners Districts 2 and 4 were invited to participate. County Commission District 2 candidate Diana Finegan and County Commission District 4 candidate Jennifer Grogan declined to join us for the interviews.
