The primary focus of the event is the celebration of strawberries -- by the berry, by the shortcake, by the flat or covered in chocolate!

The Florida Festival, a two-day event, offers visitors the opportunity to view the manatee in its own environment. The festival is hosted by the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Crystal River, and the Rotary Club of Crystal River.
