Welcome to the 30th Annual Floral City Strawberry Festival

The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome you to the 30th Floral City Strawberry Festival.

The Floral City Strawberry Festival is a salute to local agriculture. Ferris Farms, our local grower, supplies hundreds of flats of strawberries that we make into fresh strawberry shortcakes and are also sold fresh to festival goers to bring home to make their own strawberry delicacies. The Citrus County Agricultural Alliance will be in charge of the strawberry shortcake tent, with a portion of the sale proceeds given to the organization to support their local projects.

The Chamber is proud to welcome back two stellar singer-songwriters recently seen at the Manatee Festival! Amy Gerhartz and Mike Mike Mentz will be headlining Saturday from 1 to 5. Joining the performance lineup Saturday is The Jody Beggs Band at 10:30 Saturday morning, and DJ Diorio and the Dan Story Band on Sunday.

Throughout the years, Chambers of Commerce all around the country have been major producers of festivals not only as fundraisers, but as a means to help drive the economy for both the local businesses that participate in the events, as well as the businesses in the surrounding community that see an uptick in activity by event attendees who later patronize those establishments.  And of course, beyond that, festivals are just fun!
