Crystal River and Inverness Christmas Parades 



The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that the 2017 Christmas Parade theme will be
"Classic Holiday Movie" 

The Crystal River Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 2rd beginning at 6:00 pm. The parade route will start at Citrus Avenue and proceed south on US Hwy 19, ending at Paradise Road. 

This is a night parade with many of the floats decorated in Christmas lights and playing festive Christmas music. You can join in on the fun by wearing your favorite holiday outfit, Santa hat, Reindeer antlers, light up necklaces, etc. 

The Inverness Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 9th beginning at 12:00 pm. The parade route will start at Montgomery Ave and will proceed east on Hwy 44, ending at Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. This is a day time parade with many of the float decorated at "Santa's workshop playing festive Christmas music. Join in on the fun by wearing your favorite holiday out fit or dress up as one of Santa's helpers.

So you want to participate in this year's parade? Great news!

Although Christmas is a few month away, Chamber staff is already getting in the holiday spirit. 

This year, all applications can be filled out online, so no need to print one out or waste time and money on mailing it in. Simply click on the electronic application form, fill it out and click submit. It's that easy!

Please note: 

If you are entering a vehicle as part of your float or entry, proof of insurance is required. You can attach a copy of your insurance on the electronic application, so have this information handy before filling it out. If you are unable to attach a copy of insurance, you can email it to kathleen@citruscountychamber.com or mail it to Citrus County Chamber 915 N. Suncoast Blvd. Crystal River, FL 34429. Proof of insurance must be submitted no later than November 28th. If we do not receive it by then, you will not be allowed to participate. 

For all of those participating in the parade, the Disclaimer and Hold Harmless Agreement must be sign and returned to the Chamber no later than November 28th. Failure to do so will result in denial of participation. This form can be attached to the electronic application, so please have this on hand before filling out the application. If you are unable to attach a copy of the disclaimer, you can email it to kathleen@citruscountychamber.com or mail it to Citrus County Chamber 915 N. Suncoast Blvd. Crystal River, FL 34429. Again, the disclaimer must be submitted no later than November 28th. If we do not receive it by then, you will not be allowed to participate. IMPORTANT: Participant Rules for Individuals
 
For safety reason, individuals who are participating in a float or entry must accompany said entry at check in. Any person who comes in after the entry has already checked in, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to participate. No Exceptions! A designed meeting places should be set up in advance along with a main contact person.
